Trump Asserts Iran’s Attack on Israel Wouldn’t Have Occurred Under His Presidency

(Gray News) – Former President Donald Trump asserted that if he were still in the White House, Iran’s attack on Israel would have been prevented, as per a statement on his social media platform, Truth Social.

“ISRAEL IS UNDER ATTACK,” Trump emphasized on his platform, Truth Social.

He reiterated, “This should never have been allowed to happen. This would NEVER have happened if I were President!”

Trump’s remarks come in response to Iran’s launch of over 200 missiles and drones towards Israel on Saturday night.

Reportedly, this marks the first direct military attack by Iran on Israel since the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, according to the Associated Press.

In another social media post, Trump alleged that President Biden pre-recorded an address regarding the Iran attack instead of delivering it live.

“HE’LL NOW ATTEMPT TO DO IT LIVE, PROBABLY TOMORROW. HE DOESN’T WANT TO LEAVE HIS HOUSE, WITH THE CORVETTE, IN DELAWARE!!!” Trump expressed.

President Biden had to truncate his Delaware weekend due to the anticipation of Iran’s attack.

Up to now, the U.S. has conveyed direct messages to Tehran cautioning against further escalation of the conflict.
