Cat Begins to Frequent a Home and Entices Attention by Rolling Around Until He Is Pampered by a New Friend

A cat began frequenting a home, rolling on the ground and seeking attention until he found compassionate people to love and pamper him.

U-turn the Cat’s Arrival
A friendly cat arrived on the porch of a residence and chose to stay. He approached the woman living there and laid down in front of her, seeking affection.

The woman noticed his uniquely shaped ears and was captivated by his loving nature. Recognizing that a cat like him shouldn’t be homeless, she decided to assist him. When no one claimed the tabby, the woman reached out to her local rescue, Little Wanderers NYC.

“We could not bear to leave him outdoors any longer,” Little Wanderers NYC conveyed to Love Meow.

The Cat Named U-turn
U-turn, estimated to be 4-5 years old, possessed distinctive round-shaped teddy bear ears. “After a wellness check at the vet, it was confirmed he was born with these ears.” He might have ties to the “American Curl” breed as he exhibits all the typical characteristics.

On Easter, a person named Gilly noticed a plea from the rescue looking for a foster home for U-turn and eagerly volunteered.

Affectionate Gestures and Comfort
U-turn rolled over for belly rubs, expressing his need for affection. “After losing our previous tabby, we decided to honor his memory by opening our home and hearts to foster,” Gilly told Love Meow.

Gilly prepared a cozy space complete with food, treats, and comforts, and then fetched U-turn.

Settling In
U-turn emerged from his carrier with his tail high, immediately seeking affection and pets. “I expected a tough guy from the Bronx, but he’s the cuddliest of all,” Gilly remarked.

After exploring his new surroundings and receiving abundant cuddles, U-turn curled up on a comfy blanket under Gilly’s bed and slept soundly until noon the next day. “He was exhausted but knew he was safe and allowed himself to dream,” Gilly shared.

Discovering Joys and Routine
Gilly soon discovered U-turn’s favorite activity—belly rubs. He would lie back, belly exposed, ready for pampering. As soon as he was petted, his purring engine started, and he kneaded the air, making biscuits.

“We have a nightly routine where I sit on the floor rug, and he lies beside me, letting me pet him until he falls asleep. He’s like a puppy in a cat’s body,” Gilly explained.

U-turn began to engage with toys, though he preferred cuddling with his people throughout the day and night.

Comfort and Connection
He would rest his head on their hand, using it as a pillow. “He’s very well-mannered and intelligent, very easygoing and communicative,” Gilly noted.

Life as a Pampered Cat
Despite being FeLV+, nothing could dampen his spirits. U-turn craved human companionship, cuddling into his people for pets, and melted into bliss whenever he received belly rubs.

He was fascinated by his new wand toy and loved interacting with his humans.

Pure Bliss and Love
Now safely indoors, U-turn has pure bliss etched on his face. He has a wonderful foster family dedicated to fulfilling his every desire and ensuring he is perpetually loved and spoiled.
