Fortunately, a compassionate person had also noticed the thin, exhausted pup and began feeding him. This small act of kindness gave the pup some strength and made the rescuer’s job a bit easier.

When she found him, the rescuer knew trust would be key. She got down on the ground, stretched out her hand, and spoke to him in a sweet, gentle voice.

Thankfully, the little boxer pup was incredibly friendly and in desperate need of love. He immediately approached her, craving the comfort he had been missing.

To further win his trust, the rescuer offered him some treats. It was no surprise that he devoured every last crumb! With a full belly and a heart brimming with affection, the adorable boxer was finally ready for his rescue.

Now safe at Houston Boxer Rescue, this sweet pup is receiving the care he deserves. It won’t be long before he finds the perfect forever home where he’ll be cherished as the lovable boy he truly is!
